SWB Showjumping Foal Auction – 2021 Summer Edition
Like so many other events in 2020, Swedish Warmblood took the digital step and the Elite Auctions were held via the reputable international auction platform Horse24. The average prices reached top marks, both for the dressage- and jumping foals and the outcome can not be described in any other way than a great success. An increased demand for sporthorses, both in Sweden and in other countries around the world, and requests from both breeders and buyers has led to SWB now expanding its auction calendar with another opportunity to sell and buy foals.
– We were positively surprised by how fantastically good it was to go online with the elite auctions last autumn, it felt really good and I am so proud, says SWB’s CEO Helén Uddefors. We are also experiencing an increasing demand for our SWB-foals and therefore it felt natural to arrange more action opportunities.
The new auction is for jumping-bred foals and SWB has engaged the highest jumping expertise for the selection through the swedish jumping national team’s senior advisor and A-coach Ann-Catrin ”Ancan” Carlsson and uutch-based Grand Prix-rider Erika Lickhammer-Van Helmond. 21 foals are selected and will be presented at Horse24 in June 9. The auction opens at June 16 and last day to bid is June 20.

SWB Auction Office
Our Swedish Warmblood team is ready to handle any questions regarding our online auctions and the foals offered for sale.
The auction office will be open from June 1 – 20, 2021.

Inspecting foals before the auctions
If you would like to visit and inspect the foal/foals you are welcome to contact the auction office. We will contact the breeder and set up a time that is suitable for both parties.
We can also arrange a tour where you can visit several foals in the same geographical area.
Let you foal grow up in Sweden
The climate and the vast landscape of Sweden is perfect for breeding young sport horses to build maximum soundness and longevity. Our foals and young horses are raised roaming large areas of land, in freedom and in social contact with other horses. If you wish to let your foal grow up in Sweden with all its benefits, we have several reputable farms that can offer full service. Some of our farms that we recommend also offer backing the young horse and getting it under saddle. Another alternative for some of the foals in the two auctions is to reach an agreement with the breeder that they keep the foal after the weaning. We are ready to discuss and support to reach the best solution for you and your foal.
Transportation
We are happy to direct you to suitable horse transport companies that can offer transportation of your foal from Sweden to its new home whether it’s in Sweden or anywhere else in the world.
Bidding via the SWB Auction office
If you are not able to place your bid online, we offer alternative ways to place your bid in a safe and controlled way. We accept requests for phone bidding or requests for bidding by visiting the auction office. We need your request the day before the auction closes (June 19) at the very latest. Please contact the auction office to receive the request-form or you may book an appointment at the auction office where you can fill in the paper form.
