Cassandro (SWB) (born: 2019, by Casanova Hästak out of Hipster – Hip Hop, breeder and owner: Carola Lilja) claimed victory with rider Emma Odervall.
”He’s fantastic horse, he makes it so easy for me,” says rider Emma.

Thirteen horses competed among the 5-year-olds over jumps up to 1.10 meters. Cassandro jumped with confidence, a sentiment echoed by judges Mikael Nolin and Sweden’s Chef d’Equipe Henrik Ankarcrona.
”A very nice horse well prepared for his task, he has a adjustable, bouncy and elastic canter with good push-off,” was the verdict. The winning pair was the only one to go clear in both rounds.
Breeder Carola Lilja breeds on a hobby level with a few mares on the farm in Mörrum in Blekinge.

”What an experience! Today, I am a proud and very happy breeder and owner” she says.

The SWB Trophy is open to horses that have achieved top placements in the Breeders Trophys’ 4- and 5-year-old classes during the autumn. Among dressage horses, 7-year-olds are also welcome. In Scandinavium, the young horses compete at the same level of demand as they qualified for, giving them the opportunity to shine early in the year.

Hyperion Stud is the official partner of the  Swedish Warmblood Trophy – SWB Trophy, allowing some of Swedens best young horses to showcase themselves at Scandinavium during the Gothenburg Horse Show. The American stud farm operations on both sides of the Atlantic, has secured the competition, meaning that the class where horses have achieved top placements during the SWB Equestrian Weeks is secured until 2025 in its current form.

Maucca Kärki is Hyperion’s representative in Europe:
-The opportunity Hyperion offer for young talents to showcase themselves during the Gothenburg Horse Show is close to heart. Talent spotting is something we and all breeders constantly have in mind. Here, young horses have the opportunity to see a piece of the big world in a fine setting. Scandinavium is one of many arenas where young horses can compete in top-level sport in a few years, she says.

-For the Gothenburg Horse Show, it is important to be able to help pave the way for future championship horses. Finding a partner who shares the same view is very significant, says Tomas Torgersen, competition manager at Scandinavium.
